Introduction For those of you, not familiar with Opera, Opera was established in 1996 as a browser company and it is one of the few survivors from the Internet Explorer era. It was bought by a consortium led by Yahui Zhou in 2016 for $600m. It was listed in 2018 as OPRA on Nasdaq.
Great article, I'm also invested in Opera and you really listed the key important facts,
although if I may, I think you are also forgetting about Opera itself as a business, they have certainly made interesting investments, but I believe the core browser business still has some nice room to grow in emerging countries as well as developed ones.
The only downside I could see to your valuation of the company, is the fact that Opera is majorly owned by "controversial companies" (by that I mean Kunlung and Sanji Wushian) and Yahui Zhou's history of favoring his wealth against Opera's investors (Nanobank deal and Opay)
but it's more of a nit pick as Opera is a Norwegian company with good fundamentals and leadership with amazing prospects.
